Thanks, Nicholas. I'm developing a whole story here. I'm not going to tell anyone about it, of course. I'll just draw pictures.

Hey, do you two know each other? Your work has similarities but also big differences. Still, you're both still doing fine art ink drawings with a strong comic book-illustration vibe. And animals.

We don't know each other personally, but I've been following the blog for some time... I didn't know you two knew each other, it's a small small world...

Also, a bit back I told you I was working on a map too, you can see a small detail of it on my blog, but it's not awesome... I've become discouraged and haven't worked on it in a few weeks...

Wait, you guys know each other?

I found out about Nicholas from a friend in LA who send me the link to Mediumphobic--he saw the same similarities that you did, Chris. This was right before Nicholas's show in Chelsea. So I saw the show and really loved it . . . and I almost never love anything in Chelsea. So I dropped Nicholas a quick note of congratulations/praise.

Nicholas, I'd like to see some images of the this map. The map I just finished was the closest thing to inspiration I've ever had--it was pure luck. Years of reading fantasy books helped, of course, and I also still possess one old D&D notebook with a ton of names, characters, ideas, etc. which I used for inspiration as well.

I reviewed Nicholas' show a couple of years back. Not entirely favorably but mostly okay. He took it well. I've been kind of keeping up with his work since.
